What can I say about Reegan and Dave’s wedding day?! The day was full of EMOTION! When I go through the day in my head, I get a little teary eyed myself!
The Welsh and O’Meara family and friends were so amazing, heart-felt, funny, kind, and so supportive of this wonderful new union. The whole day was filled with such joy and emotion,and it was truly an honor to capture it all for Reegan and Dave!
Getting ready, there is always a flurry of activity of getting dressed, finding things, gathering people and real laughter before the wedding ceremony. Reegan and Dave’s family love the Lord, and so, it was no surprise that a heartfelt prayer was included in their wedding day timeline right before their ceremony. When all the girls placed their hands on Reegan, and prayed for love, blessings, strength, courage and joy for Reegan and Dave’s marriage, it was so touching! There were lots of tears, a few laughs, and the love felt in that room was immense. What a true blessing to have so many people there in support of these two before (and pledged to be there, after) their wedding. I was so moved by this little prayer, so, that was my first little cry of the day, but wouldn’t be my last!
When it was time for the ceremony to start, I was able to sneak back and check in with Dave before he headed out to wait for his bride. I encouraged him that one gorgeous girl would be very soon walking towards him to take his hand in marriage. The smile that spread across his face was memorable.
As the bridal party starting coming down the aisle, Dave was intently waiting to see Reegan. As soon as he caught a glimpse of her from the back of the aisle, he let out an audible gasp. It was the sweetest thing ever! Tears of joy made him grasp his face in amazement as he continued to watch his bride walking towards him, their eyes locking in love. I always love seeing how the groom reacts, and Dave’s reaction was one for the record books. Totally made me tear up for the second time.
There were so many wonderful little moments throughout their day. Lots of fun and laughter with the bridal party. Hugs and blessings from family members, and so much joy it was palpable.
Reegan and Dave, it was truly an honor to capture the love you have between yourselves, your families and friends. We pray that our documentation of your wedding day brings a smile to your face for many years to come! Many wishes for a long, happy and healthy marriage!
