Merry Christmas from our family to yours! | Liverpool Portrait and Wedding Photographer

I’m decked out in the Christmas spirit these days and it all started with putting up our tree last weekend. Although I love the end result of all the holiday decor, I was not granted the gift of decorating as my sisters were. My Mother’s tree and household decorations could win prizes in any interior design magazine.

It has come to be that nearly every Christmas I make a round of phone calls to my sisters and mother…mostly for moral support on finishing the darn tree. Either I have too many lights, or not enough…or they aren’t spaced evenly…either way I’m always worried that I’m not doing it right. So, after some encouraging words from good ol’ Mom, I stopped fussing over every detail and just had fun with it. And even though it may not look like it could be in a magazine (notice how it’s not straight…haha!), I still had a good time doing it…and most important my son really enjoys it.

Below is a sneak peak into our life around here during the holidays. Last few weeks has dumped quite a lot of snow here in CNY and like most children, my son loved to play in the snow.
