To describe Lydia and Garrett’s wedding, the word that keeps coming to mind is magical. The light, the gorgeous weather, the love, the people surrounding them, everything–it was all so–well, magical!

Their day started off as always with some getting ready shots, and the rooms at Snow Ridge Ski Resort were full of lovely light. All the girls and guys were ready for some fun, and fun they had! Just about every picture is full of incredible joy, love and tons of laughter! You can’t look at these wedding photos without feeling the emotion in them. I love that!

I love when couples choose to do the “First Look!” It always gets the bride and groom 2x more photo time! Lydia (and bridal party) were already in tears as she walked toward Garrett for him to see her in her dress for the first time. As he turned around he had the biggest smile on his face! They just embraced and kissed, and laughed! It was perfect!

Their ceremony was beautifully set back in a serene little spot next to the woods and a ski lift! Being ski lovers themselves, we of course had to grab a shot of them on a ski lift–so Dave makes a little cameo in this sneak peek since he helped Lydia get into one. The resulting shot was amazing! Definitely a first for us–first IMcouple on a ski lift!! 🙂

Their ceremony itself was so heartfelt and their vows brought a tear to my eyes. A quick into the reception hall to say hi to everyone, and then we did another first!

Thanks to her cousin and best friend, he drove us straight up the ski hill to the very top where we were able to see the incredible view surrounding the grounds of Snow Ridge Ski Resort. The photos we took up here were beautiful! On the ride down, Garrett lovingly picked some wild flowers from the grass going by and gently placed them in Lydia’s braided hair. It was such a touching moment to witness!

The reception was full of laughter, love and joyful tears. Everyone had a blast on the dance floor, dancing to the amazingly talented live band “The Primates” who are regulars at Garrett’s brewery, The Good Shepherds Brewing Co. in Auburn. They were so fun and kept everyone on the dance floor!

Lydia and Garrett-your day was magical. You guys are so sweet, funny and loving. Your 3 beautiful daughters are so blessed to have you in their lives! We wish you many years of happiness and health in your marriage! Enjoy your sneak peaks!
